Matthew Jess

Matthew brings 20 years of industry experience in both project-facing and strategic roles, having spent much of this time overseeing the execution of a national capital works program valued at approximately $200M per annum.

Having started a career in development, before transitioning into a client-side project management role, Matthew’s style focuses on an effective use of project management principles. Matthew’s strong leadership and communication with stakeholders at all levels are hallmarks of his approach.

Most recently, Matthew held the role of General Manager, Project Delivery for one of Australia’s largest landlords. His responsibilities involved all phases of the asset life cycle, giving him diverse project experience across all core sectors Australia-wide. Matthew has built a reputation on his ability to build a productive project culture that is outcome-focused, with processes and procedures in place to ensure risks are appropriately mitigated at all stages of the project life cycle.

Matthew’s ability to maximise the performance of a project is driven by a set of repeatable core principles that allow stakeholders to contribute with greatest effect. He is a firm believer of leading by example, which, coupled with his collaborative nature and drive for outcomes, ensures that client expectations are regularly exceeded.
